There's been a discussion in the Provo Linux Users Group about radioactivity. Here are some fun videos from before my time on the subject:
A is for Atom - An educational film about all the cool stuff we can do with nuclear reactions.
Radioactive Fallout and Shelter - An instructional film about how to survive radioactive fallout.
Duck and Cover - What to do when the bomb drops!
Seriously though, atomic energy is our best hope for reducing our carbon emissions at the moment. Hopefully other solutions will become more viable soon but for now it's basically the only way. It should be noted that the Three Mile Island accident was completely contained. Chernobyl was just stupid -- we've come a long way since then.
